Our Health & Safety Commitment
1. Our Primary Duty of Care
We must ensure the health and safety of our workers and others affected by our operations, as far as is reasonably practicable.
2. Worker Engagement and Participation
We will actively involve our workers in health and safety matters, consulting them on risks and encouraging their input on safety decisions.
3. Risk Management
We will identify, eliminate, or minimise hazards and risks in our workplace, and regularly review these measures.
4. Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) and Committees
We will support the election of HSRs and establish health and safety committees if requested by our workers.
5. Duties of Officers
Our directors and senior managers will exercise due diligence to ensure compliance with health and safety obligations.
6. Notifiable Events
We will report serious workplace incidents to WorkSafe New Zealand.
7. Training and Information
We will provide the necessary training and information to our workers to ensure they can perform their tasks safely.
8. Worker Duties
Our workers are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others, and complying with our safety policies and instructions.
Our Health & Safety management system is designed to be activated through the resources and tools in this Guiding app. You can also refer to the Wanderlust Health & Safety Plan (which includes the Health and Safety Policy and Procedure Manual and Health & Safety Management).
